Handmade Leather Wallet Card Holders with Colorful Abstract Art Paintings

I finally received my shipment of leather especially for these little pouch wallets.  The leather has a smoother grain so it is easier to paint and is much thicker for a sturdier hold.  I really played around with painting the patterns and even did some that are a bit out of my comfort zone with more abstract primitive shapes.  I love how they're coming along and will be posting them in the shop as soon as they're finished!

One of my favorite accessories to make are my leather wallets.  This is a new version, more of a card holder, featuring my original hand painted abstract art.  They are different from my pouches in that they don't have a button snap, they're meant to be a simple card holder leather wallet.  I love painting the patterns.  Soon after these beauties dry, I'll seal them and hand sew them with colorful waxed thread.  Then they'll be ready to list in the shop!

Hand Sewn Leather Wallets and Small Bags Featuring My Abstract Pattern Art Work

I've been pushing really hard to update my shop with new designs.  I made more of my handmade leather pouches this week which are now listed in the shop.  I really love making these designs.  My favorite part is starting from a blank piece of leather and seeing what colors and patterns I come up with.  These wallets are hand sewn with cotton waxed thread, which I also enjoy the process of!  So fun!

New Handmade Colorful Painted Leather Wallets and Card Holders

I absolutely love expanding my product lines, it's so exciting! Now in addition to my jewelry line, I'm working on a range of hand sewn leather accessories.  These handmade leather wallets  can be used as coin purses, business card holders or to hold just about anything small.  They feature really fun hand painted abstract patterns too for a very unique one of a kind feel.  I am working on some ideas for tablet and phone cases, as well as make up bags and small clutches.  Stay tuned!
