Spring is here and I've been cleaning up my work space.  When I'm working on huge wholesale orders it becomes quite a mess.  Here is where I spend most of my time working on your orders.  My space matches the color in my jewelry.  Welcome to my world!

Handmade Geometric Leather Jewelry - Works in Progress

 I've been working on several projects in the studio.  I have a few wholesale orders of my geometric leather jewelry as well as my hand sewn and painted leather wallets.  I also am working on a wonderfully fun custom order of hand painted leather key chains for a special stockist.  Below are some work in progress pictures of current orders.

Handmade Jewelry Works in Progress

I'm finally caught up on all of my orders! So now it's time to play around and make some new pieces! I ordered new leather in lavender, teal and peach and am so excited to start using it! I love the peach with gold, so I made a hexagon geometric statement necklace.  Also, I'm making a few smaller pendant leather necklaces, some with hand painted triangles and the other with tassels.  New designs should be posted in my shop for the rest of the week starting tonight!

Boo and Boo Factory Handmade Jewelry: A Look into my Studio and a Little About Me and My Process

I wanted to share some photos I took for Etsy's merchandising team.  They show a little glimpse of my world, my workspace, packaging, materials and behind the scenes look at me making leather necklaces and leather pouches.  I am so honored to be included in the Etsy Blog for their Instagram series #adayinthelife series.  For a whole day I took over their Instagram feed and met a lot of amazing crafters, artist and handmade enthusiast.  This spring is starting off with a bang for my shop and I'm so thankful! Thank you for all of your support!

In the studio....

This morning was very productive!  I thought I'd show you some works in progress so you can see the pieces made from beginning to end.  I was playing around with different methods of painting, color and texture.  These paintings will become statement necklaces.  I think that they're perfect for summer. The more color the better.
