I've been busy working on a wholesale order of my geometric statement necklaces and earrings to a lovely stockist in Australia.  The order is almost complete! I'm also preparing for the holiday season and filling my shop up with new ready to ship designs.

Handmade Leather Holographic Jewelry Wholesale Order

My wholesale order is almost complete! I'm just putting some finishing touches on the pieces.  I really love taking progress photos of orders I'm working on almost more than the photo of the final product! This is what my desk is looking like on this Saturday afternoon.  I have 3 other wholesale orders to complete as well as several individual orders.  Lots of work to do, not even to mention preparing for the holiday season, my busiest yet!

I'm so excited about this custom wholesale order featuring my handmade holographic leather.  It is coming out to be one of my favorite orders! Here are some works in progress from the order.  More shots once it's complete. Almost finished! Who doesn't like an iridescent chic statement necklace?

Boo and Boo Factory Handmade Leather Jewelry - Orders today

This weekend I've been preparing my handmade jewelry orders to ship out.  I have quite a few wholesale orders, which are my favorite! I love photographing all of the pieces together at the end.  Since I've been so busy with my my leather jewelry, I haven't had a lot of time to make new inventory. My key chains and leather pouches have been doing very well and I'm excited to introduce some more designs.

In the mean time, I'm already thinking and preparing for Christmas, something I was better at last year but still need work on improving.  Back to work packaging up these beauties!

Handmade Jewelry in the Making - Mint Tassel Statement Necklace with Silver Spikes

Hope your having a great weekend! I'm working on packaging up a large wholesale order and working on some new designs.  I really love my hand painted ombre tassel necklace, so I made another one in a mint ombre gradient pattern with silver chain and hardware.  More new work to come!

My desk is looking a bit messy but to me everything makes sense.

Handmade Jewelry Works in Progress

I'm finally caught up on all of my orders! So now it's time to play around and make some new pieces! I ordered new leather in lavender, teal and peach and am so excited to start using it! I love the peach with gold, so I made a hexagon geometric statement necklace.  Also, I'm making a few smaller pendant leather necklaces, some with hand painted triangles and the other with tassels.  New designs should be posted in my shop for the rest of the week starting tonight!

Boo and Boo Factory Handmade Jewelry: A Look into my Studio and a Little About Me and My Process

I wanted to share some photos I took for Etsy's merchandising team.  They show a little glimpse of my world, my workspace, packaging, materials and behind the scenes look at me making leather necklaces and leather pouches.  I am so honored to be included in the Etsy Blog for their Instagram series #adayinthelife series.  For a whole day I took over their Instagram feed and met a lot of amazing crafters, artist and handmade enthusiast.  This spring is starting off with a bang for my shop and I'm so thankful! Handmade Jewelry - Neon Leather Statement Necklaces

I've been getting ready for the summer season creating bold neon leather statement necklaces in a variety of different colors.  The necklaces feature different materials such as goose feathers, Italian leather hides, wood beads and even my new holographic leather.  It may seem that this Chicago winter may never end.  However, inside my studio is filled with bright blinding color to get me through.
